Although the major car manufacturers have not started using this technology yet, a couple of independent ones have begun design and contruction of interesting vehicles. One is called a Scorpion and we would like one please!

Report of a test on a converted Ford pick-up by ATDS in the USA. This showed that the pick-up increased fuel economy 84%!!! From 20.1 to 38.9 mpg.

This is a paper from the University of Rousse, Bulgaria which was presented at the World Automotive Congress in Barcelona, Spain which concluded that Hydrogen gas mixed with diesel improves fuel economy and horsepower.

Probably the most compeling endorsement of this supplemental technology to date. The South Korean Government ordering all their Government vehicles to be fitted with HHO Generators!!

One question I am asked probably more than any other is... "if this is so good, why are the major motor manufacturers not using it". It is possible, and has been for many years, to produce a vehicle that does 200 MPG. The fuel companies would never allow it. Article in the Times newspaper suggests the lengths fuel companies will go to supress fuel technology.

Here is an interesting link to a video demonstration of a huge generator being run on HHO ONLY! This is not quite feasible as yet in the automotive field but it will be. This demonstarates the potential of this fuel, with future research and development this is the way forward.

Water fuel hybrid vehicle wins the 'Tour de Sol'. This is a Monte Carlo style Rally in America which challenges entrants to achieve the highest miles per gallon from a 'normal' production vehicle. It is run over a 155 mile circuit including urban driving and motorway. The vehicle (a Saturn SL1-which is about the same size as a Ford Mondeo) runs on the same technology as we fit to our vehicles and achieved 99.53 MPG!!

References Validating the Technology of HHO

The material in these links is very dry. They are scientific papers written for a scientific community. But for those that are interested in the tests done to validate this technology, the results can be found here. Most of these documents are by and for the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). The SAE links are to the short abstracts of the paper. At the bottom of the list are references to patents that have been applied for. These patents go back to 1914. This subject is not new!

There are a couple of abbreviations used frequently in these documents: ICE - Internal Combustion Engine, and SI - Spark Ignition; as in an "SI engine".
